Based on the following information, a LifeSpan sales representative will send you a preliminary quote or contact you for more information. For a more accurate initial quote, please answer both the Basic and Detailed study questions listed below.
Basic Study Questions:
1. Goal: What is the biological question you want to answer?
2. Antibodies: What antibody resources are available to your target(s)?
3. Tissues: What normal and/or diseased tissues do you want screening across (details and number of patients)?
4. Timeline: When do you need the results of this study?
Detailed Study Questions:
5. Describe the antibodies you have available for this study.(source, clonality, isotype, immunogen, species raised in, reactivity, purification type, humanized, conjugated (FITC, Biotin, etc), etc.
6. Have you or others used the antibody in any type of assay? (IHC? FFPE? Frozen?) If so, what were the results?
7. Do you know of, or can you provide, any positive/negative human tissue controls? (cells? xenografts?)
8. If the antibody is monoclonal, do you want us to run an isotype control in Phase I (minimum recommended) and Phase II?
9. Are there specific tissue microarrays that you would like used?
10. Do you need a written report of the initial antibody characterization study against controls (Phase I) before we proceed with the test sample staining (Phase II) or will a verbal communication suffice?
11. What type of Phase II reporting do you want?

12. Is there any special type of interpretation required (particular observations, scoring, etc)?
13. Is there a restricted timeline for receiving a LifeSpan quote, getting the contract signed, and/or completing the study?
14. When do you intend to initiate the study?
15. Do you have any budgetary constraints we should know of before making a proposal?

A LifeSpan study quote will quickly be returned to you for consideration.
