High quality rabbit polyclonal antibodies
LifeSpan offers full service production of rabbit polyclonal antibodies from
peptide design to the characterization of the final product. With a decade of
antibody production experience and more than 2,500 antibodies synthesized,
LifeSpan can help you develop the reagent you need.
Investigators can quickly initiate the production of an antibody by selecting
the LifeSpan SureAbTM Synthesis Service or work with LifeSpan
to design a more customized protocol to suit their specific needs.
Production projects can be tracked in real time through LifeSpan’s secure online
interface, allowing investigators to make adjustments as the protocol develops.
Once produced, antibodies can then be characterized for affinity and specificity
by Western Blot analysis or in immunohistochemistry, taking advantage of
LifeSpan’s expertise as a molecular pathology provider and extensive tissue
bank.

Upon completion of each antibody project, clients are supplied with
affinity-purified antibody, unpurified antisera, peptides, the purification
column, and a production report. Depending upon the terms of the agreement,
this report will contain an overview of the production and details of the
antibody characterization results with accompanying images.
